Birdfair 2020 cancelled

Updated: Aug 17, 2020

It's just been confirmed, though long suspected, that this year's British Birdwatching Fair, due to be held in August at Rutland Water, has been cancelled as a result of the ongoing restrictions in place due to Covid-19.

While we are very disappointed to hear this news we know that the decision has not been an easy one, and has been taken with full consideration of the safety of exhibitors, organisers and visitors alike, which is of course of paramount importance.

The #Birdfair is such a wonderful way to keep in touch with friends, clients, colleagues and fellow tour operators from around the world, with the to face contact that is sorely missing in this era of emails. We've been exhibiting at #Birdfair each year since 2004 (as India Nature Tourism and now as Bluetail Birding), and we look forward to returning in 2021 to share our passion for birds, birding and travel.

In the meantime, we are here and monitoring our emails. If and when you feel ready to think about future bird tours, and when it is safe to do so, feel free to get in touch - we'll be happy to talk about any future plans, knowing that any trip may yet be a way into the future.
